Being your Journey with Breath Control and Meditation
In this class you will learn various techniques for gaining control over your breath, as well as the use of pranayama to prepare you for samyoga: concentration (dharana), meditation (dhyana), and subjective contemplation (samadhi).This class does not require the student to have any previous knowledge of pranayama. Consistent attendance in class is strongly suggested as there is some memorization and homework involved. Come in loose comfortable clothing as often we will be sitting or lying on the floor, and the breathing itself can generate a certain amount of heat in the body.
